Well, I am happy to confirm that my lovely friend Eve has agreed to my doing her a shoot. Safe to say i'm VERY excited. We're doing it next weekend and are praying the weather is at least clear. The theme is mods and rockers so stay tuned too see what looks we throw your way. I've managed to snap myself up a brand new fred perry for ten pounds on one of my favourite sites http://www.preloved.co.uk/ so check it out for lots of lovely bargains. -ciao for now.

red jumper.

I bought my red jumper for four pounds in my local oxfam and I haven't stopped wearing it since. Here on the right i've teamed it with leather leggings, a peacock print silk scarf and  my satchel. On the top left i've matched it with a pleated black skirt and on the bottom left it's mixed with my cut off levi jeans and barbour coat which is mentioned earlier in my blog.

Barbourrr.

This is my brand new second hand barbour wax jacket. It cost thirty five pounds from my work and I haven't taken it off my back since. It has it's original tartan lining and only needed to be re-waxed before it was ready to go. I've been searching for a barbour for quite a while now so when I approached my boss I was delighted to hear the he had in fact recently purchased a mass load of barbours and possibly had one in my size. I'll be teaming it with my brand new cut off levi's which I bought from the deep store in nearby middlesbrough for twenty pounds. (http://deepclothing.co.uk/) This will be my key festival look as the coat is waterproof however I still wish to have that little bit of vintage fashion. ciao- frances.

Tiedye'tastic.

Now tie dye has always been a bit of a pet hate of mine. However I seem to have suddenly embraced this new trend with open arms, it looks wonderful! I recently saw two lovely looking ladies teaming tie dye vests with cut off levi's and black pleated lace skirts. It looked very nice and really stood out from the crowd. So if you're a bold kind of girl that fancies a summer piece that won't break the bank but can be matched with lots of gorgeous items then I strongly recommend that the tie dye tee is for you. ciao, frances.

Festival delights.

At the moment everybody is beginning to get into festival mode. So here is my step by step guide to achieving your gorgeous festival look. What I've noticed recently is that frayed cut off jeans are in at the moment so teamed with a toned down vest or shirt and suitable wellies it's sure to get you noticed. Also as I have planned a nice loose parker coat and a statement jumper looks good at the moment. Matched up again with wellies and some plain shorts or skirt. I am attending parklife festival in a week so my barbour will definately be needed on hand given it's in manchester. let's begin!

Recently I've embraced my new obsession with hauling charity shops for lovely bargains and this just tops off my brand new finds. I also work on a vintage clothes market which helps me develop my collection. At my work we have a variety of leather flying jackets, old vintage barbour coats. (one of which I have just recently purchased and is currently being re-waxed) various art print t shirts and vests. We also do military coats and different kinds of levi jeans. To me it is a dream job and the discounts are fabulous! Over the course of the next few weeks you'll be seeing various friends of mine who have very kindly donated their beautiful faces to this blog. They will be showcasing mine and their lovely outfits of which I hope you will like and approve of. Our style is just basically vintage and individual clothing and isn't necessarily needing to be boxed or stamped. Expect more, love Frances. ciao.
